Primary Instructor Biographies
(these are the people running the classes)

Coach Tom Wilkinson: 
Coach Tom served as the Learn to Swim director of the Pheasant Run Flyers from 1991-2009. Over this time period, he was also the head coach (2001-2009) and primary assistant coach (1991-2000) of the team.  Under Coach Tom's leadership, Pheasant Run won 17 "A" championships, 15 Burlington County championships, and 14 Tri-County championships. He was also the head coach of the PRSC United States Swimming program and coached the girls’ varsity team at Lenape High School from 1999 until 2004, receiving the BCT High School Swimming Coach of the Year award in 2003.

In 1997, Coach Tom established a year-round (fall, winter, and spring) Learn to Swim program based out of the Moorestown Community House. Coach Tom has taught swim lessons for the past twenty-eight years. During the day, Coach Tom teaches 8th grade, assists the instructional staff with technology, and serves as the district webmaster for the Lumberton Township School District. He was awarded the Lumberton Middle School Educator of the Year in 2006. Outside of school and swimming, Coach Tom is the proud father of two girls and two boys. All four children are currently ages six and under. Coach Tom graduated from Northwestern University in 1996 with a degree in secondary education.

Coach Mike Wilkinson:
Coach Mike is the head coach and Learn to Swim director of the Erlton Gators.  He has assisted with the LTS program for the past fourteen years. During the day, Coach Mike teaches physical education at Crockett Middle School in Hamilton Township. Coach Mike is also the head coach of the PRSC United States Swimming program. Coach Mike graduated from Rowan University in 2000 with a degree in health and physical education.


Coach Liz Gadomski:
Coach Liz is the Learn to Swim director and coach of the Pheasant Run Flyers. During the day, she teaches French at Highland High School. Coach Liz is also a coach for the PRSC United States Swimming program. Coach Liz graduated, with honors, from Vassar College in 2008 with a degree in French and philosophy. Coach Liz has either swam for or taught with Coach Tom since the age of eight.

Coach Danielle Hoey:
Coach Danielle was the coach of the Tenby Chase Sharks from 2003 to 2009. Prior to coaching, she competed for Tenby Chase and Pomona from the ages of five to eighteen, excelling in the breaststroke and freestyle events. During the day, Coach Danielle teaches kindergarten at Riverton School. Coach Danielle graduated from Kutztown University in 2005 with a degree in elementary education.

Coach Jared McGrath:
Coach Jared has been part of the LTS program for nine years. He spent 13 summers at Pheasant Run and played an active role in helping coach the younger swimmers. He graduated from Ramapo College in 2013 with a degree in Intenational Business and was able to have parts of his educational experience abroad. In his spare time he enjoys surfing and golfing.

Coach Jesse McGrath:
Coach Jesse was a private lesson instructor and assistant coach of the Pheasant Run Flyers. He has assisted with the LTS program for the past twelve years. He was also an assistant coach of the PRSC United States Swimming program. Coach Jesse graduated from Drexel University in the spring of 2011, majoring in Materials Engineering. He also competed and lettered for their varsity swim team. Coach Jesse has either swam for or taught with Coach Tom since the age of seven.

Coach Jordan McGrath:
Coach Jordan was a private lessons instructor and assistant coach of the Pheasant Run Flyers. He has assisted with the LTS program for the past ten years. Coach Jordan is a recent graduate of William Paterson University, majoring in psychology. Coach Jordan has either swam for or taught with Coach Tom since the age of five.

Coach Sean McGrath:
Coach Sean is the primary assistant coach and group lesson instructor of the Pheasant Run Flyers. He has held this position since 2010. Coach Sean is also a Flyer graduate and Coach Tom disciple. Coach Sean recently graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in exercise physiology.

Coach Greg Wilkinson:
Coach Greg was the primary assistant coach and group lesson instructor of the Pheasant Run Flyers from 2001 until 2009. He also swam for Pheasant Run starting at the age of five and continued his career at Towson University, specializing in the mid-distance freestyle events. During the day, Coach Greg teaches math at William Allen Middle School in Moorestown. Coach Greg graduated from Towson University in 2003 with a degree in elementary education (math / science concentration), earned a master’s degree in Supervisory Leadership from Wilmington University in 2008 and received his doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Walden University in 2012. In his spare time, Coach Greg is an avid (and nationally ranked) triathlete.

Coach Lauren Colflesh:
Coach Lauren was a group / private lesson instructor and an assistant coach of the Pheasant Run Flyers from 2005-2009. She has assisted with the LTS program for the past fifteen years. Coach Lauren graduated, with honors, from Rutgers University in 2008 with a degree in psychology, and received a a master’s degree in school counseling from Rider University in the spring of 2011. Coach Lauren has either swam for or taught with with Coach Tom since the age of four. She is currently working in the Monroe Township school district, most recently as a guidance counselor in the Oak Tree Elementary School. At this time, she is on a sabbatical from swimming, but assists with the program when needed.

Numerous educators, coaches, and experienced swimmers (high school and college level) assist with the program in addition to the staff listed above
